This complex and faint nebulosity in the constellation of Ara often draws attention due to looking like two dragons fighting. This is a false color image using the 'Hubble Palette', where hydrogen, sulfur, and oxygen emission are each assigned a color. It was captured in 2025 by one of our members, Stu Todd.
This beautiful nebula is nearby to the popular Lagoon Nebula. It comprises of emission (red, hydrogen) and absorption (black, dust) areas. It's in the constellation of Sagittarius, and was captured by one of our members in 2025, Stu Todd.
