Introduction to Astronomy 2025

Our popular Introduction to Astronomy course runs for 4 weeks, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

The aim of the course is to equip anyone curious about the night sky with the knowledge to explore further in the most effective way.

The Introduction to Astronomy has a slight change of dates.  The course now runs for 5 weeks with these new dates:

13 May:    What is in the night sky - identifying the dots and blobs.

20 May:    The Beatrice Tinsley Lecture 

27 May :  Where and how to find to particular objects.

 3 June:    'Ask an astronomer', and our regular monthly meeting.

10  June Ways to optimize your viewing.
