General Information

The best observing nights are cold so make sure you wear warm clothing, especially warm footwear and head gear.

Please note that we do not have toilet facilities as of yet.

Public Nights

Public nights are held each Sunday night during Night Time Savings (when there isn't Daylight Savings). Currently, we're starting at 7:30pm and generally finishing around 9pm (depending on demand).

Admission fees are $5 per person. Under 5 year olds are free. There is no charge for members.

The focus is on viewing astronomical objects using the society's telescopes. Opportunities may be available to try your hand at astrophotography if you have a suitable SLR camera.
